Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 12 - 5 - 3, fighting out of Montreal, Tobin Frost!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 32 - 26 - 2, fighting out of London, Liam McGuiness!
The judges for this bout are Tatsuya Matsuyama, Shigeki Fujiwara and Ren Mimura.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Frost explodes with a nice body kick and back out of range. Nice work.
Frost cracks McGuiness with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the ropes.
Frost lands a slapping body shot.
McGuiness throws out a loose jab but Frost uses good head movement to avoid it.
McGuiness takes a shot to the body in his stride.
We've been informed that McGuiness has been sparring a lot of Muay Thai in the buildup to this fight so let's see if that has an impact on the result.

and McGuiness cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.

Frost lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

McGuiness throws out a counter right but Frost avoids it with no problem.
McGuiness scores with a crisp jab that stopped Frost in his tracks.
McGuiness drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.
Frost throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.

Frost uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from McGuiness.

Frost fakes high and swings low for a body shot but McGuiness manages to avoid it.

The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! This is the final round!

A lazy body kick from Frost

and McGuiness counters with a big right hook, that lands right on the temple! Frost goes down! McGuiness rushes to a neutral corner to get the count going quickly. This one's going to be close! 3,4,5,6,7... Frost is up to one knee.... 8,9.... He's up! The referee says he's good to go, so we're back to the action!
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
McGuiness grits his teeth and throws a big right-left combo! Frost takes both shots clean on the chin and is out cold! McGuiness cracks him once more on his way down, as the crowd goes wild! They enjoyed that one!
