Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Island Junkie!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Daniel Erdmenger!
The judges for this bout are Dirk Anderson, David Hoff and Michael Johnstone.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Junkie closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Junkie lands in his opponent's guard.
Junkie slips nicely into half guard.
Erdmenger trying to hold on to Junkie's head to control him but Junkie postures up.
Junkie looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
Junkie throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Junkie uses his free foot to push down on Erdmenger's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Erdmenger.
Erdmenger looks winded!
Erdmenger tries to get back to half guard but can't.
That's one minute gone in the round.

Erdmenger is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

Erdmenger is in a horrible position here. Junkie smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.
Junkie wants to control the pace but Erdmenger is squirming around nicely.
Erdmenger takes a big shot to the head but keeps on trying to improve his position.
Junkie pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage.
Erdmenger looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Junkie looking to ground and pound his opponent to a finish here.
Erdmenger is rocked!
Junkie postures up and throws a massive shot that knocks Erdmenger out cold! Two more strikes to his unconscious opponent for good luck and this one is all over! Junkie goes absolutely crazy with his corner! Wow, you can see how much that win means to him!
