The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Semu looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
Wazowski is trying to get back to full guard.
Semu is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Wazowski is just riding it out for now. Semu eventually gives up the hold.
Semu is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Wazowski doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Semu.
Wazowski is looking for a sweep. Semu is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Semu is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Wazowski sees it coming and defends easily.
