Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Levi Hatfield (ranked 6466 p4p, 0 weight class) and Luke Norman (ranked 6504 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A head kick misses from Hatfield.
Hatfield shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Norman pinned against the cage. Norman gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

Norman drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.

Hatfield uses the cage to get back to his feet.
Norman moves in looking to clinch but Hatfield pushes him off.

Norman throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Hatfield tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Norman is in Hatfield's guard.
Hatfield might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Hatfield fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Norman sprawls well initially but Hatfield persists and gets the takedown into half guard.

That was a close round but I would say that Levi Hatfield will probably get the nod.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Norman can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Hatfield is looking to escape.
Norman scores with a couple of good head shots there.
Norman lands a big shot there that rocks Hatfield but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.
Norman avoids the attempt from Hatfield to control.

Norman postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Hatfield looks a forlorn figure.

Norman won't let Hatfield get back to his feet... He wants to keep the fight where it is for now.
