The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Angeli uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Raider.
Raider misses with a two punch combination.
Angeli was looking to counter that last move with a shot to the body but he didn't commit.

Raider takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.

Angel Raider seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

and Angeli counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Raider thinking.

Raider closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.

Angeli feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Raider sprawling to the canvas! Raider rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Angeli finish him?!

That has opened up Angel Raider's cut even more.
Angeli is really peppering his opponent's head with punches.
Raider tries to move into range but Angeli moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.

Angeli lands a big right hand that sends Raider crashing to the mat! Angeli stays standing though and waves Raider back to his feet!

Raider gets clipped by a big right hand and goes down spinning to the canvas! Angeli gets the back mount and begins to drop bombs on his rocked foe! Raider is too out of it to defend against the strikes and the referee jumps in to save him from the beatdown!

Alessandro Angeli decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
