Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 31 - 85 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Mountain Rivera!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Gregor Clegane!
The judges for this bout are Alan Glass, Tiny Johnson and Stewart Dunkirk.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Clegane shoots in but Rivera avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Clegane fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Rivera avoids it really well and circles away.
Rivera seemed to be looking to counter by closing the distance.

Clegane takes the fight into the clinch.
Rivera wants to take the fight to the mat but Clegane manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch.
Rivera managing to block the knees to the body from Clegane.
Clegane is trying to maintain a safe position but Rivera gets an underhook and turns Clegane into the cage.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Rivera breaks the clinch.
Rivera shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Clegane defends it nicely.
Rivera shoots in but no luck this time.

Clegane wants to clinch up but Rivera keeps it at a distance.

Clegane lands a beautiful sweep and he's now moved into his opponent's guard.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Rivera wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now.
Clegane must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.

Rivera wants to improve his position but instead Clegane has moved into half guard.
Clegane tries to stand and escape but Rivera is controlling the position.
Rivera keeps control of the position for the meantime.

Clegane is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Rivera sees it coming and defends easily.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Rivera makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Rivera.

Rivera is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
Rivera scores with a few weak punches.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.

Clegane throws a counter combo.

Clegane shoots in but Rivera avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Rivera dives in and grabs Clegane's left leg, looking for a takedown. Clegane pushes down on Rivera's head and hops out.

The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!

Clegane shoots in but Rivera avoids the takedown attempt easily.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Rivera is defended easily by Clegane.
Clegane misses with a takedown attempt - Rivera sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.

Horrible takedown attempt by Clegane or perhaps it was just good defense by Rivera, which made it look bad.
As Clegane tries to get set, Rivera tries to push him back and clinch up but Clegane manages to avoid the attempt.
Mountain Rivera has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Gregor Clegane.

Rivera looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.

Mountain Rivera is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Rivera takes a nasty kick to the mid section... That should keep him thinking. Does he try and block and risk a head kick landing?
Rivera avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Clegane tries to clinch but Rivera is having none of it.
Rivera stuffs the takedown.
Clegane tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Rivera was well out of range. Poor timing from Clegane.
Clegane tries to close the distance and clinch up but Rivera swats him away and circles back towards the center.

and Clegane counters with a series of strikes. Rivera will be more careful next time no doubt.
Rivera closes the distance and clinches up with Clegane, looking for a takedown. Rivera pushes Clegane against the cage but Clegane circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

Rivera avoids a punch combination nicely.
Rivera darts in looking for a takedown but Clegane gets double underhooks and turns Rivera into the cage.
Rivera leaves Clegane with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Clegane dives in and grabs Rivera's left leg, looking for a takedown. Rivera pushes down on Clegane's head and hops out.
Rivera walks forward, straight into a front kick from Clegane.
Clegane moves in looking to clinch but Rivera pushes him off.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Rivera tries to score a power double leg takedown but Clegane sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Rivera somewhat.

Clegane tries to pull guard but Rivera holds him up against the cage and eventually Clegane drops back down to his feet.
Clegane on the defensive, avoiding the knees to the body.
Clegane wants a takedown but no success here.
Clegane wants to take the fight to the mat but Rivera manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch.

Clegane is fighting off a takedown attempt but Rivera is just too persistent for him and manages to trip Clegane to the mat. Clegane regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat.
Rivera stands up over Clegane, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.
Rivera is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Rivera has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.
Rivera won't allow Clegane to sweep him here.
Clegane has momentary wrist control but Rivera slips an elbow through the middle.

Clegane escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Rivera gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Rivera is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

A close second round but Gregor Clegane will probably get the nod - 10:9.
Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin! Let's hear some noise people - this is the final round!



Rivera dives in and scores a takedown into Clegane's guard.

Clegane has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Rivera can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
Clegane tries to land a sweep but no joy.
Rivera stands up over Clegane, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.
Rivera is working Clegane over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.
Rivera lands a couple of digs.
Rivera postures up, still in guard. A huge hammer fist lands that bounces Clegane's head off the mat! Clegane is out! He's out! Rivera jumps to his feet and celebrates with his corner!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:56 of round 3, we have a winner by way of KO (Strikes). Mountain Rivera!
Mountain Rivera tried to hype himself up post fight but didn't word it too well and it ended up with him sounding like a bit of a tool.
