Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.

With a record of 32 - 20 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Eddy Maiden!
The judges for this bout are Robert Douchet, Alec Ball and Ian Loll.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Maiden connects with a high kick.
Brown lands a nice leg kick that just misses Maiden's sensitive parts.
Maiden has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
Brown avoids the head kick by Maiden.
Brown definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
Maiden throws out a leg kick but Brown moves out of range and Maiden only half commits.
Brown looking to take his opponent's legs away with the low kicks.
Maiden throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Brown sizes up Maiden with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.

Brown cracks a nice hook into Maiden's ribs.
Brown scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.

It looks like Eddy Maiden has been cut.
Brown jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Brown sets himself, and Maiden steps forward looking for the clinch! Brown avoids it this time.

Brown motions for Maiden to come forward. Brown throws a leg kick but it misses it's target.
Brown scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Maiden doesn't seem bothered though.
Brown connects with a leg kick. Maiden looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it.

Maiden takes one on the chin but seems OK.
Brown throws a body kick that digs right into the meat.
Brown tests Maiden's chin there with a solid looking shot.

Brown cracks Maiden with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Brown has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Maiden to stand back up!

Maiden is rocked!
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Maiden leaves his chin hanging out and Brown seizes the opportunity with an uppercut! Maiden crumbles to the floor in a heap, and the referee steps in and tends to the downed fighter! What a knockout!
