Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Murilo Mauricio DeSilva (ranked 1517 p4p, 221 weight class) and Konstantin Zuev (ranked 1888 p4p, 265 weight class). This should be fireworks!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

13 - 10 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Konstantin Zuev !
The judges for this bout are Columbo Gatti, Alyssa Summers and Eddie Farnsworth.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Zuev scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.
DeSilva slips under a jab.
DeSilva moves out of range as Zuev strikes.
DeSilva throws a body shot but no joy.
DeSilva looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
DeSilva's jab looks to have found its range, popping Zuev under the eye.
Zuev throws a jab but it's blocked by DeSilva.
Zuev shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. DeSilva eats them both and turns towards Zuev to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.
DeSilva looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.

Zuev 's hands are dropping dangerously low here and DeSilva connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Zuev scrambles back to his feet.

Zuev throws an uppercut from half a mile away. DeSilva sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Zuev is still on wobbly legs! Can DeSilva finish him?
Zuev throws a shot from downtown. DeSilva moves away and avoids it.
DeSilva lifts his leg as if looking to counter with a high kick.
This entire fight has taken place on the feet so far and you wonder whether DeSilva might be better served trying to take this one to the ground because he's losing the standup battle so far.
Zuev gets clipped by a big right hand and goes down spinning to the canvas! DeSilva gets the back mount and begins to drop bombs on his rocked foe! Zuev is too out of it to defend against the strikes and the referee jumps in to save him from the beatdown!
