Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Steven Kennedy (ranked 2145 p4p, 53 weight class) and Schmorgen Biscuit (ranked 2920 p4p, 59 weight class). Schmorgen Biscuit has the eye of the tiger tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Steven Kennedy!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Schmorgen Biscuit!
The judges for this bout are Frank Antenori, Jack Bonds and Timothy Bukovac.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Biscuit misses with a takedown attempt - Kennedy sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Biscuit avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Kennedy scores with a head kick. Biscuit tried to block it but didn't get his arm up in time.


It looks like Schmorgen Biscuit has been cut.
Kennedy misses with a takedown attempt - Biscuit sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Kennedy moves forwards but Biscuit connects with a nice, crisp jab.
Kennedy throws a sloppy head kick and Biscuit moves out of range easily.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

This has been an exciting period of action!
Kennedy stops a takedown attempt from Biscuit.
Kennedy is trying to pull guard but Biscuit turns him against the cage and we stay in the clinch.

Biscuit wants the takedown. Kennedy is fighting it off but Biscuit persists and manages to bring the fight to the ground, ending up in Kennedy's guard against the cage.

Kennedy has his foot on Biscuit's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Biscuit works his way back into a safe position though.

The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
Biscuit postures up and lands some nice ground and pound.
Biscuit is in close to Kennedy's body, working some short punches and elbows.
Biscuit stands and throws Kennedy's legs to the side, diving into side control.

Kennedy throws a low kick but Biscuit moves out of range easily.
Biscuit tries a counter takedown but it's more of a dummy move, and he uses it to push himself away.
Biscuit closes the distance and clinches up with Kennedy, looking for a takedown. Biscuit pushes Kennedy against the cage but Kennedy circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
As Biscuit tries to get set, Kennedy tries to push him back and clinch up but Biscuit manages to avoid the attempt.
Kennedy lands a nice leg kick that just misses Biscuit's sensitive parts.
Biscuit tries to score with an inside leg kick but telegraphs it and Kennedy is able to avoid easily.

Biscuit swings around for an armbar but Kennedy sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into Biscuit's guard.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Biscuit is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Kennedy pushes a forearm under Biscuit's chin to create some space. He's escaped his hips and pivoted quickly for an armbar! Can he extend the arm? Yes, Biscuit is tapping out! Damn, that was fast!
