Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 13 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Ryan Wallace!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 54 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Ichi Yakuza!
The judges for this bout are Alec Ball, Elvis Blanc and Ian Loll.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A head kick from Wallace lands but Yakuza takes it in his stride.
Yakuza shoots in for a double leg but Wallace sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Wallace lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!
Wallace scores with a leg kick.
Yakuza shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Wallace pinned against the cage. Wallace gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
As Yakuza looks to move away, Wallace throws a big counter combo but Yakuza just gets out of the way.
Yakuza looks winded!
No luck for Yakuza with that takedown attempt.
Ryan Wallace has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Ichi Yakuza.
Nice sprawl there from Wallace as Yakuza shoots in.
Yakuza avoids a punch combination nicely.
Wallace swinging wildly here.
Wallace throws a right and a left that Yakuza avoids nicely.
Wallace throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Wallace throws the kick towards the body but Yakuza avoids it.
Despite the aggression on Yakuza's face he doesn't fully commit to the counter.
Yakuza shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Wallace but Wallace pushes him off and we're back to square one.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Wallace moves into range and clinches up with Yakuza.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Wallace tries to land a knee to the head but misses.
Wallace lands with a short head shot on the inside.
Wallace pushes off and fires off an elbow that misses, before clinching up again, against the cage.

Yakuza's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Yakuza shoots in but no luck this time.
Wallace lands with a kick to the temple. Yakuza shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?"
Wallace lands with a head kick! That's gotta hurt.

Wallace shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Yakuza is trying to defend but Wallace finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.

Wallace seems like he's working for an arm triangle here. He's freed his trapped foot and he's rotating nicely. Yakuza is in big trouble! He's tapping out! This one is aaaaaaaaaaaall over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:45 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Arm Triangle). Ryan Wallace!
A relieved looking Ryan Wallace thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
The defeated Ichi Yakuza had this to say: 'This has not been honorable. Seppuku!'.
