Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Juan Rizky (ranked 8232 p4p, 329 weight class) and Noel Slager (ranked 8949 p4p, 348 weight class). Slager has chosen Best UFC entrance of all time!!! as his entrance music. Noel Slager has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 5 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Juan Rizky!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 3 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Noel Slager!
The judges for this bout are Michael Johnstone, Bart Greer and Winston Alpacca.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Rizky dives in and scores a takedown into Slager's guard.

Slager has scooted to the edge of the canvas and used the ropes to get back to his feet. Rizky has stuck on his opponent and is forcing him back against the ropes.
Rizky misses with a short punch on the inside.
Rizky is trying to pull guard but Slager has him pressed against the ropes.

Slager manages to break the clinch.
Rizky avoids a punch combination nicely.
Rizky was looking to counter that last move with a shot to the body but he didn't commit.
Slager looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Slager works over Rizky's head and body with a nice combination.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Slager tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Rizky was well out of range. Poor timing from Slager.

Slager takes a head kick and shrugs it off.
Slager misses the jab.
A lazy left from Slager finds it's target.
Rizky scores with a head kick. Slager tried to block it but didn't get his arm up in time.
Rizky shoots in but no luck this time.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Juan Rizky. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Rizky just misses with a punch to the body.
Slager moves in looking to clinch but Rizky pushes him off.

Slager has taken the fight to the clinch.
Slager should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.
A frustrated look appears on Slager's face as he tries to break the clinch.
Slager lands with a right to the head.

Rizky breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Rizky takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.

Rizky turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Rizky manages to end up in side control.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

Rizky has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Rizky cracks Slager with a big right hand but Slager just smiles back at him and invites him to have another go.

The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.

The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Rizky cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!

Rizky cracks Slager with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.

Rizky is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but Slager is surviving well by controlling Rizky's body position as best he can.
Rizky postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Slager looks a forlorn figure.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Slager is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the ropes but Rizky has just dragged him back down to the mat.
Rizky looks up at the clock and then as Slager takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Rizky smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!

Juan Rizky decided to thank the fans in attendance for making a great atmosphere. It seemed to go down pretty well.
The defeated Noel Slager had this to say: 'sorry, i lost but i'll be back better and stronger as ever'.
