PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Raine Lovelair (ranked 3157 p4p, 369 weight class) and Max Handle (ranked 3561 p4p, 410 weight class). Handle has chosen Right On as his entrance music. On his way into the cage it seems that Raine Lovelair has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Raine Lovelair seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Handle staying out of range there.
Handle scores with a nice right hand.
Handle scores with a jab to the head.

It looks like Raine Lovelair has been cut.
Handle throws a good cross that connects.
Handle throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Handle lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Lovelair circles away quickly and effectively.
Handle bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.
Handle throws a shot from downtown. Lovelair moves away and avoids it.
Handle has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.

As Handle tries to get set, Lovelair tries to push him back and clinch up but Handle manages to avoid the attempt.

Lovelair fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Handle.

Handle closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.

Lovelair throws a right hand that Handle ducks under and follows up with a left that Handle also avoids with ease.

Lovelair forces Handle back against the cage and clinches.
Handle blocks an uppercut.
Lovelair has Handle pressed against the cage, preventing Handle from circling away and getting back to striking at range.
Handle slows down the pace here.
Lovelair connects with a nasty looking knee right to Handle's face.
Handle takes a shot to the head.
Lovelair tries to land a knee to the head but misses.

Handle's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button!
Lovelair keeps control of Handle as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.

Lovelair bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.

Lovelair moves into range and clinches up with Handle.

Handle breaks from the clinch.
A jab lands there for Handle.
Lovelair ducks under a wild hook from Handle.
Lovelair takes one on the button.
Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Handle.
Lovelair misses with a looping right.
Handle looks to land a left hand but Lovelair moved out of range nicely.
Handle misses with a series of wild punches.
Handle throws a sloppy head kick and Lovelair moves out of range easily.
Lovelair really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Lovelair tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Handle was well out of range. Poor timing from Lovelair.
Lovelair is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Handle.
A punch lands to the side of Handle 's head but he takes it in his stride.

Handle misses with the combination.
A head kick misses from Lovelair.
Lovelair tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Handle was well out of range. Poor timing from Lovelair.

Handle might want to mix his strikes up a bit more. He's just going for head shots at the moment and that can become a bit predictable.
Lovelair wants to clinch.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!
Lovelair looks to score with a jab to the body but Handle is just out of range.

Handle throws a series of punches but Lovelair moves out of range.

Handle has Lovelair up against the cage in a clinch.
Handle lands a hook to the side of the head.
Lovelair doesn't land with the attempted body shot.

Handle escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

Handle smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.
Lovelair connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.
Handle is landing a lot of head punches in this opening round! Lovelair had better start moving his head a bit unless he wants his face to turn into pâté.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Lovelair is looking to clinch but Handle is avoiding it.
Handle misses with a double jab.
Lovelair throws a leg kick which misses Handle's front leg but catches the back leg as Handle tries to avoid it.
Lovelair chopping away at his opponent's legs.

Oooooh!!! Handle has knocked Lovelair down with a huge combo! Handle steps away and waves a wobbly Lovelair back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!

Lovelair is rocked!

Raine Lovelair's cut is getting worse.
Lovelair lands with a slapping head kick.
Oh Lovelair is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Lovelair fails with an attempt to clinch.
Handle swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made.
Lovelair seems to have got his legs back now.
Lovelair checks a low kick. Bone on bone - not my idea of a good time.
Lovelair tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Lovelair throws a sloppy body shot
and Handle counters with a straight that turns Lovelair's legs to rubber! Handle pushes forward with more strikes and Lovelair goes down, battered and bloody! That's a wrap folks!
