The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Fury uses his free foot to push down on Laitela's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Laitela.

Laitela isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Fury stacks Laitela on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Fury!

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.
Fury lands a lovely overhand right.
Fury stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
Laitela ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Fury has been the more effective fighter overall so far.
