The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Evans shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Toddumai as he avoids it easily.
Toddumai appears to be looking for a counter takedown.
Toddumai digs a good hook to Evans's body.

It looks like John Evans has been cut.
We've been told by Toddumai's head coaches at School of Hard Knocks that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.

Evans with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Toddumai to score with a decent uppercut.

Toddumai drops Evans with a beautiful combination! Evans stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Toddumai is looking for the KO!
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Toddumai connects with a nice cross there... Evans is looking wobbly and Toddumai recognises it - he's rushed in and lands two more brutal shots that send Evans to the canvas, out cold! A brutal finish to the fight - Toddumai jumps onto the cage to celebrate with the crowd!
