Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Paulo Rolinha (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Gaycer Silva (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rolinha comes into the arena with Paul Engemann - Push It To The Limit blaring out of the sound system. Gaycer Silva has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Daniel Cesar, Edson Gomes and Felipe Paraventi.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rolinha ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Silva moves away.
Rolinha shoots for a takedown but Silva saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Silva gets caught flat footed, as Rolinha shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
Rolinha passes Silva's left leg - he's now in half guard.
Rolinha is controlling the pace.

The referee calls for the fighters to work.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Silva makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Silva.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Silva shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Rolinha's guard.

Silva stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Rolinha swivels though and keeps the full guard.

The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Rolinha cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!

Silva tries to lock up and control but Rolinha gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.
Rolinha has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Silva's face.

Silva slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work.

Gaycer Silva showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

Silva lands a knee to the body and follows it up with some ground and pound to the head. That will wear Rolinha down.

Silva remains in side control and seems content to stay there. It's a versatile position from which he can work both strikes and submissions, whilst maintaining that control, so maybe he'll sit here for a while.

Gaycer Silva comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Silva has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
