The judges for this bout are Jorge Garcia, Columbo Gatti and Eddie Farnsworth.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lassiter misses with the combination.
A combination from Lassiter does no damage.
It looked like Allen was looking amped, ready to throw a big counter but didn't commit.
Lassiter misses with a series of wild punches.
Allen seemed to be looking to counter by closing the distance.
Lassiter pushes Allen up against the cage in a clinch.
Lassiter is defending well against a takedown attempt.
Allen breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Lassiter lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Allen circles away quickly and effectively.

It looks like Jordan Allen has been cut.
Nick Lassiter seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Lassiter misses with a series of wild punches.

Lassiter gets in close and tags Allen with a short punch that almost sends Allen to the mat! Oh Allen is in big trouble! He turns his back on Lassiter, trying to create some distance but Lassiter rushes him, striking wildly and Allen goes down! The referee tackles Lassiter into the cage to end the fight! Lassiter is one violent man!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:10 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Nick Lassiter!
In his post fight interview, Nick Lassiter started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
