Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Mamoru Takamura (ranked 3127 p4p, 285 weight class) and Maksimilian Lyagushov (ranked 3174 p4p, 294 weight class). Takamura comes to the cage accompanied by Pay Money To My Pain - Weight Of My Pride. Well, I have no idea who's going to take this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

3 - 1 - 1, fighting out of The Island, Maksimilian Lyagushov!
The judges for this bout are Santiago Holmes, Winston Alpacca and Dirk Anderson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lyagushov fakes a jab and then connects with a hook.
Takamura throws a nice outside leg kick.
Takamura throws a body kick but he was well out of range there.
Some bone on bone action there as Lyagushov checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one.
Takamura fakes with the hands and throws a leg kick but Lyagushov is out of range.
Good leg kick by Takamura there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
Takamura dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Lyagushov. That did some damage!

Takamura lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.
A low kick from Takamura is predictable there
and Lyagushov counters with a nice double leg into side control. Takamura won't be happy with that.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Lyagushov is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Takamura knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.
Takamura definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.

Lyagushov thows a huge punch but Takamura dodges it nicely.

A big strike lands for Lyagushov! That's really hurt Takamura and he's turned his back - Lyagushov keeps firing away and the ref dives in to stop the fight! Lyagushov jumps to his feet to celebrate the victory!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:49 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Maksimilian Lyagushov!
After winning the bout, Maksimilian Lyagushov thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
