Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Corwin Anstey (ranked 2773 p4p, 266 weight class) and Frankie Edgar (ranked 4877 p4p, 427 weight class). Frankie Edgar told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

and Anstey counters with an inside leg kick.

Anstey went nuts there looking for a big combo counter but none of the flurry connected.

With the fighters clinched against the cage, Edgar creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.

Edgar is trying hard to land a takedown here. Anstey sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
Edgar throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

Anstey drops Edgar with a beautiful combination! Edgar stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Anstey is looking for the KO!

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Anstey throws an overhand right that drops Edgar like a sack of potatoes! Anstey dives in to finish the fight with more strikes and this one is all over!
