Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Jordan Allen!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Gabriel Braganca!
The judges for this bout are Eddie Farnsworth, Alyssa Summers and Columbo Gatti.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
We've got one fighter who appears to only be looking to counter and the other not looking particularly aggressive either, so we could be in for a dull fight.

Braganca feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
Allen tries to strike from the bottom.
Allen tries to land a sweep but no joy.
Allen keeping moving, preventing Braganca from controlling successfully.
Allen looking for a sweep. Not yet Allen, not yet.
Braganca wants to control from the top but Allen keeps moving.
Allen trying to keep a closed guard but Braganca is proving a slippery customer.
Allen is adopting a defensive guard.
It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.

Braganca closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Allen did well to prevent Braganca getting side control.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Allen is staying active underneath Braganca, who seems content to just control the action from this position.
Allen is trying to maintain the position but Braganca is very close to passing his half guard.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Braganca changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Allen fights it off and pushes away nicely.
Braganca ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Allen moves away.
Allen misses with a combination
and Braganca counters with a left and a right that stings Allen.

Allen scores with a decent looking hook.
Braganca has a takedown stuffed.

Braganca closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Allen did well to prevent Braganca getting side control.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Allen is looking for a sweep. Braganca is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!


Allen is looking to clinch.
Braganca fails to land the takedown.
Allen throws a big counter combination but Braganca scrambles out of danger and avoids any damage.

Braganca feints and as Allen raises his hands in defense, Braganca changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Allen is looking to clinch but Braganca is avoiding it.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

and Braganca counters into the clinch. Nicely done.
Allen looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now.
Braganca stops a takedown attempt from Allen.
Allen tries for a takedown. No joy.
Braganca tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Allen smiles and moves away.
Allen leaves Braganca with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Allen appears to be looking for a big counter.
Jordan Allen has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Gabriel Braganca.

Braganca swings for the body but Allen moves out of range.
Braganca shoots in but doesn't get the takedown

and Allen holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.
Braganca prevents Allen from breaking the clinch.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Allen is trying to force a seperation but Braganca has the dominant position.
Braganca tries to pull guard but Allen holds him up against the cage and eventually Braganca drops back down to his feet.

Allen escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Braganca darts in looking for a takedown but Allen gets double underhooks and turns Braganca into the cage.
Allen is looking for a counter combo.
Braganca displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Allen.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Braganca is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close second round but I would say that Jordan Allen will probably get the nod.
The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! This is the final round!

Allen tries to regain full guard. Instead though, Braganca has advanced to mount. Uh oh.
Allen is working to get back to half guard.

Allen tries to lock up and control but Braganca gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.

Allen is controlling an arm, preventing Braganca from taking his back. Although keeping him in mount is no better to be honest.

Braganca tries to stand up but he's trapped just for the moment.
Braganca has been the more effective fighter overall so far.
Braganca looking to control but Allen is working nicely, looking to advance position himself.
Allen wants to control but Braganca is having none of it.
Allen holds on for dear life.
Allen really wants to buck Braganca off and get back to his feet.

Braganca working for a submission but Allen is keeping him at bay.
Allen tries to get back to half guard but can't.
Allen regains half guard.
Allen is looking to improve his position.
Allen controlling the leg, holding on to half guard.

That's three minutes gone in the round.

Braganca is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Allen is just riding it out for now. Braganca eventually gives up the hold.
Allen slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work.

Allen is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Allen avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.
Braganca wants to control from the top but Allen keeps moving.
Braganca content to stall in guard here.

Allen bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.

And that's the end of the fight!
Gabriel Braganca comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I think Braganca has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
