The judges for this bout are Ian Loll, Yves DeLean and Robert Douchet.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
We've got one fighter who appears to only be looking to counter and the other not looking particularly aggressive either, so we could be in for a dull fight.
Johnson tries to close the distance and clinch but Savage swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Savage unleashes a big counter combination but Johnson bobs and weaves and avoids any damage.
Savage looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!

Savage thinks about the counter body kick.
Johnson seems to be moving with more speed, compared to his last bout. He must have been working on that in the gym.

Johnson has taken the fight to the clinch.
Johnson lands on the inside with an uppercut.
Savage blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

It looks like Randy Savage has been cut.
Johnson has the Thai clinch. He lands a big knee to the head that stumbles Savage - he's in trouble! Another big knee to the head from Johnson, and another! Savage is out on his feet - the ref jumps in to save him and ends the fight!

Our winner, Paul Johnson, made sure he spent some time buttering up the crowd during his post fight interview, which will no doubt bring him a few more fans.
The defeated Randy Savage had this to say: 'I'm talking about all the way to the top, yeah. I'm justifiably in a position that I'd rather not be in. But the cream will rise to the top, ooh yeah. Macho Madness!'.
