Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Matt Piletich (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Pizzazz Longez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Piletich kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Manowar-King of Kings. Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Piletich throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Longez's waist but Longez gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Piletich off to one side.
A jab-cross combination lands for Longez and sends Piletich crashing to the mat! Longez follows him down to the mat - Piletich regains half guard but he's not out of trouble yet!

It looks like Matt Piletich has been cut.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Longez wants to stand but Piletich has hold of a leg and an arm, so he's trapped for now.

Longez tries to stand and escape but Piletich is controlling the position.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Piletich wants to sweep here but Longez controlling him for the moment.

Longez really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Piletich. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Longez has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Piletich is proving hard to escape from.
Piletich bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Longez's guard.
Piletich tries to free his leg and advance position but Longez is retaining full guard.

Piletich drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Longez dives on top into guard.
Longez would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Piletich looking for a sweep. Not yet Piletich, not yet.
Longez must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.

Piletich is looking for a triangle here but Longez uses the submission attempt to pass into side control.

Piletich moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.
Longez throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.

Piletich shoots in for a double leg but Longez sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.

Longez sends Piletich crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! Longez is motioning to the referee to let Piletich up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet!

Pizzazz Longez is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Piletich bobbing and weaving nicely... He's ducked under a jab and ducks again but ooooooh! Longez comes at him with an uppercut from hell! Piletich falls to the canvas, unconscious! This one is all over! Oh man, looking at the replay that was right on the button! Piletich was out before he hit the floor!
