Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Roman Divac (ranked 2058 p4p, 258 weight class) and Steve Lucas (ranked 2561 p4p, 307 weight class). Divac comes to the cage accompanied by Nas- Do you hate me now. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Roman Divac!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 13 - 13 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Steve Lucas!
The judges for this bout are Shigeki Sano, Yukihiro Yamamoto and Shirou Masuda.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lucas doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
Lucas on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot.
Divac lands with a nice body punch.
Lucas has been working on his striking defense in training and it's paying off as Divac is landing a low percentage of strikes.

Divac rushes Lucas and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Divac digs a right hand into Lucas's ribs. Those have got to be taking their toll on Lucas's gas tank.
Lucas can't get the takedown.
Lucas looks winded!

Divac breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Lucas takes a shot right to the bread basket.

and Divac counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.

Divac digs a good body shot into Lucas's ribs.
Lucas is aggressively charging in as Divac backs up avoiding any damage. Divac tosses out a jab and Lucas runs right into it face first! Lucas is out cold! Divac dropped down on all fours and is barking in Lucas's face like a pit bull in celebration until the ref was finally able to pull him away!

A less than humble Roman Divac misjudged his post fight interview somewhat and came across a little too arrogant whilst trying to hype up his own abilities.
