Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Mongo Malone (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Lion Gate (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Mongo Malone has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gate shoots in looking for a takedown. Malone tries to sprawl out of it but Gate keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Malone manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Malone has closed the distance and engaged Gate in a clinch.
Gate tries to score a body lock takedown but Malone shows good agility there to stay on his feet.
Gate can't break the clinch.
Come on Malone - let's have some action - none of this stalling nonsense.
Gate wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
Malone throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but Gate blocks it with crossed arms.
Gate goes for a takedown attempt but Malone pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
Mongo Malone has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Lion Gate.

and Malone counters with a slapping leg kick.

With the fighters clinched against the cage, Malone creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.
