Watt has chosen Edmund Fitzgerald as his entrance music. Konner McKregor could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Scott Watt's chin.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A jab from Watt finds it's way through McKregor's defenses.
McKregor throws a body shot but no joy.
McKregor throws the left hand but Watt avoids the punch easily.
McKregor throws a hook but Watt blocks it.
Watt misses with a right hand
and McKregor counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
McKregor misses with an attempted mid kick.
McKregor misses with a hook
and Watt counters with a stiff right hand.
McKregor fails to land with a series of punches.
McKregor throws a leg kick but he was too far away and it doesn't land.
McKregor tries to land a front kick but Watt steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.
McKregor looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.

Watt takes the fight into the clinch.
McKregor tries to break the clinch but Watt is controlling the position.
Watt is working McKregor over against the cage.

Watt told us before the fight that he's been working on his elbows. An under utilised technique these days - let's see if it can sway the outcome of the fight.

McKregor has had enough of the clinch but Watt keeps him there for the moment.

McKregor tries to break free but Watt pushes him back against the cage.
Watt digs a right hand underneath McKregor's ribcage. McKregor let out a lung full of air as it connected.
Watt has McKregor pressed against the cage.

Watt throws a head kick but McKregor moves out of range.
Watt throws a lazy right hand but McKregor sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.

McKregor swings and misses with a shot to the body
and Watt counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work.
Watt clobbers McKregor with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
McKregor fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Watt has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
McKregor misses with a hook
and Watt counters with a straight right hand.
McKregor turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.
McKregor will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Watt wants to counter with a clinch but McKregor pushes him away.

Konner McKregor seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
McKregor tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Watt was well out of range. Poor timing from McKregor.
McKregor throws a shot from downtown. Watt moves away and avoids it.
Watt rushes McKregor and starts throwing punches like they are going out of style! McKregor is up against the cage and has nowhere to go. Watt piles on the pressure and McKregor crumples to the floor! This one is all over!
