Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Doc Stuffins (ranked 17808 p4p, 451 weight class) and Panupong Singsurat (ranked 2322 p4p, 110 weight class). Panupong Singsurat has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 6 - 6 - 0, fighting out of New York, Doc Stuffins!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 10 - 4 - 0, fighting out of London, Panupong Singsurat!
The judges for this bout are James Atkins, Daniel Bishop and Paul Tew.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Stuffins connects with a leg kick. Singsurat looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it.
Stuffins definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
Singsurat is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Stuffins moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.
Stuffins throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Singsurat counters with a straight punch to the midsection.

Stuffins moves into the clinch.
An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Stuffins.
Stuffins misses with a punch on the inside.
Stuffins struggles to land a body shot inside as Singsurat controls his hands.
Singsurat jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Stuffins walks away with a smile on his face. Singsurat gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.

Stuffins instigates a clinch.
Stuffins misses with a hook from the clinch.

Singsurat has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed Stuffins clear over his head and slammed him to the mat!
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Stuffins trying to get back to his feet but Singsurat is in full control for now.
Stuffins is really stuck here.

I would not like to be Stuffins right now.
Stuffins might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.

Singsurat is working the ground and pound here and the referee is taking a close look at Stuffins. He must escape soon or this one will be stopped.

Stuffins tries to close the distance and clinch up but Singsurat swats him away and circles back towards the center.

A nice side step and Singsurat releases a counter shot to the body, but it doesn't find it's home.

I really don't envy Stuffins right now.

We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Stuffins holds on and takes a little breather.
