Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Craig Davis (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Johnny Thunder (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Davis comes to the cage accompanied by The Who - Baba O'Riley. Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Davis buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Davis throws a head kick but Thunder moves out of range.
Good leg kick by Davis there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
Ouch! a nice leg kick from Davis, right into the meat.
Davis doesn't manage to clinch there - Thunder circles away.
Thunder shoots in but no luck this time.
Davis cracks the inside of Thunder's front leg.
Thunder blocks a head kick by Davis.
Davis tries to clinch but Thunder moves out of range.
Davis works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.
Davis misses with a low kick.
Thunder fails to land the takedown.
Davis throws a sloppy head kick and Thunder moves out of range easily.
Davis misses with a head kick.
Thunder swats away the attempt to clinch by Davis.
Davis throws a leg kick but Thunder sees it coming and checks it nicely.

Davis moves into the clinch.
Davis swings away with an uppercut that misses.

Davis prevents the takedown attempt.
Craig Davis has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Johnny Thunder.
Davis lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage.
Davis with the Thai clinch. He's looking to land a big knee but he's not managed it this time.

Davis tries a knee to the head but Thunder blocks it.
A short body shot lands from Davis as the two fighters clinch.
Thunder is working for takedown but Davis is calmly controlling the position for now.
Davis misses with a punch on the inside.
Davis tries to land knees in the clinch but Thunder avoids the damage to the body.
Davis prevents the takedown attempt.
Thunder looks gassed!

Davis throws a knee to the head but misses.
Nice body punch from Davis.
Thunder is clearly stalling here... Pick up the pace son.
Thunder has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Davis avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.
Davis drops down looking for an ankle pick but Thunder pulls his leg out and moves away.
Davis fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.

Davis feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Thunder has managed to work for a loose triangle. I think Davis should be able to defend this one pretty easily though. Oh, Thunder has tightened it up now! Davis should have reacted faster there - he's in big trouble and yes, he's tapped out! This one is all over!
