Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Jc Graham (ranked 25086 p4p, 0 weight class) and Levi Hammer (ranked 6592 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hammer fails to land the takedown.

Graham closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
Graham really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Hammer is looking for a takedown.
Graham is trying to pull guard but Hammer has him pressed against the cage.

Hammer jumps into guard, dragging Graham to the mat.
Graham slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Hammer is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Hammer is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
Graham is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.
Hammer is trying to control the position but Graham postures up.
Graham connects with a couple of short punches.

Graham wants to get up but he can't break Hammer's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.

The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

Hammer gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.

Graham lands a couple of digs.

Graham is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.

Graham gets to his feet. Hammer looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son!

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Hammer misses with a takedown attempt - Graham sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.

Hammer has managed to clinch.

Graham jumps guard and drags Hammer to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.
Hammer wants to stand but Graham has a closed guard, so he can't escape.

Graham is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Hammer is aware though and is defending well.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!

Hammer is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.

The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!

Graham shoots for a double leg takedown but Hammer sprawls well. He's pushed Graham's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Hammer lands a jab to Graham's midsection.
Hammer shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Graham as he jumps to the side.

Hammer gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Graham can't get the takedown.
Graham is working for takedown but Hammer is calmly controlling the position for now.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Jc Graham. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Hammer is breathing heavily.

Graham is working really hard to secure the rear naked choke. Hammer defends successfully for a significant amount of time. Both fighters are looking very determined.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Hammer turns into Graham and is now in his guard.
Hammer won't allow Graham to sweep him here.

Graham has managed to work for a loose triangle. I think Hammer should be able to defend this one pretty easily though. Oh, Graham has tightened it up now! Hammer should have reacted faster there - he's in big trouble and yes, he's tapped out! This one is all over!
