Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Vladimir Pulin (ranked 9948 p4p, 0 weight class) and Zygmunt Stec (ranked 7834 p4p, 0 weight class). Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A combination from Pulin does no damage.
Stec moves out of range as Pulin strikes.
Decent striking displayed by Pulin there.
Pulin on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.
Pulin throws a right hand that Stec ducks under and follows up with a left that Stec also avoids with ease.
A big left from Pulin misses.
Pulin slaps away a takedown attempt from Stec, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Pulin throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Stec.
Pulin stuffs the takedown attempt from Stec. Stec gets slowly back to his feet.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Pulin throws a right hand that misses

so Stec counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.
Stec is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

Stec postures up and decides to stand up, from the half guard. The ref calls for Pulin to stand up.
Pulin throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Stec counters with a one-two to the body.
Stec bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.

Pulin wants to clinch up but Stec keeps it at a distance.

Stec bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
A lull in the action here.
Stec landing strikes.
Stec working away diligently from side control. Landing strikes effectively there - that will score him some points on the judges scorecards.
Stec controls the position.
Stec's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
It looks like Stec might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
