Silva kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Kid Ink - ROUNDS ft. Jeremih & Fabulous. Cain Silva has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Silva takes one on the chin but seems OK.

It looks like Cain Silva has been cut.
Somwan swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Silva changes levels looking for a counter takedown but doesn't commit.
Nice jab there from Somwan.
A lazy left from Somwan finds it's target.
Somwan paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.
Somwan lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.

Somwan cracks Silva with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Somwan has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Silva to stand back up!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Somwan connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Silva momentarily.
Somwan cracks Silva on the jaw with a powerful right hand and Silva falls backwards against the cage. Somwan follows up with more strikes that drop Silva to his knees. Somwan keeps the pressure on and the referee jumps in to save Silva! This one is all over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:57 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Chinawoot Somwan!
Chinawoot Somwan spent the whole post fight interview bigging himself up. It didn't go down that well with the fans after a while as they thought it was a bit arrogant.
