The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
McHough explodes with a nice body kick and back out of range. Nice work.
Takaziko takes a shot to the body in his stride.
A shot to the liver by McHough. Beautiful body shot.
McHough ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
McHough jabs at Takaziko's body.
Takaziko on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot.
Takaziko tries to clinch but McHough moves out of range.

Takaziko stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from McHough.

McHough has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.

McHough throws a nice outside leg kick.
McHough fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.
Takaziko is breathing heavily.
McHough lands with a right hand.
McHough throws a right and a left that Takaziko avoids nicely.
Takaziko takes a body punch but keeps moving.
McHough lands a nice hook to Takaziko's body. Takaziko takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
McHough lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range.
McHough dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
McHough is throwing a lot of body shots here, looking to wear down Takaziko rather than just go for the knockout.

McHough moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
McHough feints and then cracks Takaziko's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Takaziko down.
McHough lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.
McHough delivers a nice body kick.

McHough feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Takaziko sprawling to the canvas! Takaziko rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can McHough finish him?!

Takaziko is rocked!

It looks like Mako Takaziko has been cut.
McHough changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.
Oh Takaziko is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
McHough throws a shot to the body.
McHough lands a nice shot to the body.
Ben McHough is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

Takaziko takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.
A slapping leg kick lands for McHough.
Takaziko seems to have got his legs back now.
McHough scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
McHough with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.

McHough fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.
McHough scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent.
McHough thuds a mid kick into his opponent's body. That will wear on Takaziko if he has to take too many more of those.

McHough lands a big uppercut and Takaziko crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but Takaziko looks OK. McHough waves Takaziko back to his feet!
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Takaziko tries to get into range but McHough steps to the side and lands a beautiful hook that drops Takaziko! He's faceplanted into the mat, ass in the air... he's out cold! That's an image he won't want to show his grandkids when he gets older! McHough scores the big KO victory!

A relieved looking Ben McHough thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
