Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Knox Harrington (ranked 5049 p4p, 627 weight class) and Pernar Nexhip (ranked 4649 p4p, 602 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Harrington might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Be-I. Pernar Nexhip has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nexhip darts in looking for a takedown but Harrington gets double underhooks and turns Nexhip into the cage.
Harrington ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
Nexhip misses with a body shot
and Harrington counters with a nice body shot.
Nexhip closes the distance but Harrington moves to the side
and Harrington counters with a left to the body.
Harrington seems to be moving with more speed, compared to his last bout. He must have been working on that in the gym.
Nexhip misses with a hook. Harrington ducked under it nicely.
Nexhip moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.
Harrington digs a good hook to Nexhip's body.
Harrington slaps away a takedown attempt from Nexhip, before circling back to the center of the mat.
No luck for Nexhip with that takedown attempt.
Knox Harrington has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Pernar Nexhip.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Nexhip tries to close the distance and clinch but Harrington swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
As Nexhip looks to move away, Harrington throws a big counter combo but Nexhip just gets out of the way.
Harrington will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Harrington displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Nexhip.

Harrington scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.

As Harrington backs off Nexhip throws a huge counter combo but Harrington manages to avoid it all.
Nexhip shoots in for a double leg but Harrington sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.

Harrington tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Nexhip was well out of range. Poor timing from Harrington.

Nexhip shoots for a double leg takedown but Harrington sprawls well. He's pushed Nexhip's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

Harrington went nuts there looking for a big combo counter but none of the flurry connected.
Nexhip takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
Nexhip looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Harrington is fending him off so far but Nexhip persists. Nope, Harrington circles away and we're back to standing.

Harrington's corner calls for a 1-2. Harrington obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.

Nexhip's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Harrington connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Nexhip scrambles back to his feet.

Harrington stalks Nexhip and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Nexhip's face. Nexhip staggers backwards, shaken.

Nexhip is rocked!
Harrington fakes the body blow, causing Nexhip to drop his hands! Left hook to the temple! Nexhip goes stiff, and falls face first into the mat. Goodnight!
