Coming up we have a featherweight kickboxing rules bout between Cain Jones (ranked 4418 p4p, 399 weight class) and Keith Stone (ranked 22507 p4p, 675 weight class). Jones kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Hell's Bells- AC/DC. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Keith Stone!
The judges for this bout are Sosuke Kotani, Shirou Masuda and Shigeki Fujiwara.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Stone scores with a jab to the jaw.

Stone's coach down at The Furnace was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Stone's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight.
Jones throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Jones attempts a leg kick but it's missed by a good margin.
Jones lands with a nice body punch.
Stone clobbers Jones with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.

Stone gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Stone digs a right hand underneath Jones's ribcage. Jones let out a lung full of air as it connected.

Jones tries to break the clinch but Stone is controlling the position.

Stone tries to throw a body punch but Jones avoids it by throwing Stone back against the ropes.

With the fighters clinched against the ropes, Stone creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.
Stone lands a hook that snaps the head of Jones backwards.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

A short body shot lands from Stone as the two fighters clinch.

Stone misses with some punches.

Jones is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the ropes.
Stone misses with a punch on the inside.
Stone scores with an uppercut up the middle.
Stone softening up his opponent with strikes, against the ropes.

Jones manages to break the clinch.
Stone scores with a punch to the head.
Jones throws a body shot but no joy.
Jones takes one on the button.
Stone misses with the combination.
Stone tries to close the distance and clinch up but Jones swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Jones throws a right and a left that Stone avoids nicely.
The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Stone thuds a left hand into Jones's body.

Stone fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Jones, pushing him back against the ropes.
Jones is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the ropes.

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin!


Stone wants to clinch up but Jones keeps it at a distance.

Stone darts in and clinches Jones up against the ropes.
Stone gets through Jones's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head.

Jones breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
A head kick misses from Jones.
Jones looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
A lazy left from Stone finds it's target.
Stone checks a leg kick.
Keith Stone seems to be getting the better of the standup.
Stone jabs Jones to the body, keeping him at a distance.
Stone fakes a jab and then connects with a hook.
Stone tries to clinch up against the ropes, rushing in to close the distance. Jones manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!
Jones scores with a crisp jab that stopped Stone in his tracks.
Stone tries to close the distance and clinch up but Jones swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Jones takes one to the chin there.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Stone catches Jones with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!
Jones throws a half hearted mid kick.
Jones fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Stone manages to avoid it.
Stone getting the better of the striking in that exchange.


Jones is rocked!
A punch combination from Jones misses.
Oh Jones is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Stone sizes up Jones with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.
Jones drops his guard momentarily, allowing Stone to crack him with a picture perfect lead left hook! Boom! Down goes Jones! Oh, he's in big trouble - I don't like his chances here as the referee's count reaches 5. 6,7,8,9...10! He's out! Stone takes it!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:56 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punch). Keith Stone!
After winning the bout, Keith Stone thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
