The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Irwn gets tackled into the cage by Rhodes. Rhodes maintains the clinch.
Irwn working hard to break the clinch.
Rhodes really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Rhodes jumps guard but Irwn stands there with Rhodes around his waist. Rhodes gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.

Irwn breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.

Irwn moves into range and clinches up with Rhodes.

Rhodes manages to pull guard. Let's see whether he can land a sub off his back.

Rhodes is working an open guard so Irwn takes the opportunity to get back to his feet.

The fight moves into the clinch position.
Irwn tries to break the clinch but Rhodes is controlling the position.

Rhodes breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Irwn looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Irwn avoids the body shot from Rhodes.
Rhodes throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Irwn stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.

Irwn has closed the distance and engaged Rhodes in a clinch.

Rhodes has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Irwn uses from the top position.

Irwn plants his feet and throws a brutal three punch combo that sends Rhodes swiftly into unconsciousness! Right, left, right! Boom, boom, boom! Rhodes face plants, battered and bloodied! He might never be the same again after that finish!
