The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Siggurdson looks to throw the jab but Calderon is out of range.
Calderon is trying to close the distance and clinch up, after that failed offence from Siggurdson.
Calderon shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Siggurdson lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Calderon circles away quickly and effectively.
Calderon slips a straight right by Siggurdson.
Calderon misses with a kick to the body
and Siggurdson counters with a leg kick that reverborates around the arena.
A slow jab from Siggurdson misses its intended target.

Calderon shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Calderon showed some decent athleticism there.

Siggurdson manages to create a bit of space in order to work his way back to his feet. Calderon keeps hold of his opponent and drives him back against the cage.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Siggurdson pushes Calderon back against the cage and lands a hook to the side of the head.
Siggurdson lands an uppercut.
Still in the clinch, Siggurdson scores with a nice short uppercut.
Siggurdson lands a hook that snaps the head of Calderon backwards.
