The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Carter scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground.
Wright knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Carter on the ground.

Carter looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Wright with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.

Carter maintaining the dominant position here and is working for a kimura. He's locked it up! Wright could be in real trouble here! He's trying to wriggle out but Carter has cracked it and Wright is screaming in pain - he's tapped out! Great finish by Carter!

A very excited looking Brantley Carter rambled incoherently for about 5 minutes post fight about how awesome he is. It was kinda funny for a while but then everyone got annoyed.
In defeat, Alex Wright stepped up to the mic, saying 'When I sign a contract, I really want to give 180%. And if I can't give that, it's just not fair to the promotion and it's not fair to the fans and it's not fair to myself'.
