The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dexon scores to the head and body with a nice combination!
Love fails with the takedown.
Dexon tries a head kick but it misses.

Dexon closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Love's guard.
Dexon stays in close to Love's body and controls the position.

Love tries to buck Dexon off but Dexon is having none of it.
Dexon lands a knee to the body and a forearm to the face.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.

Dexon is trying to stick to Love's back but Love is turning into Dexon. He's managed to reverse the position - now he's in Dexon's guard. Polite applause from the crowd in appreciation of some nice Jiu Jitsu by Love.

Love has double underhooks and is working for a body lock takedown. He's got it. The fighters land in half guard but Dexon regains guard immediately.

Dexon has his feet on Love's hips. He pushes off and gets to his feet. Nice work.
