Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 4 - 0, fighting out of London, Svyatoslav Bondarenko!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 9 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Cameron Gowing!
The judges for this bout are William Peck, Alec Ball and Trevor Gratis.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bondarenko tries a head kick but it misses.
Bondarenko looking to land some kicks to the body here.
Gowing drops down looking to force a counter takedown but Bondarenko defends it well.

Bondarenko gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
Bondarenko is looking to stand back up... there's a bit of a scramble and Gowing dives into side control.

Gowing advances to mount.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Gowing controlling the pace for now.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Gowing looking for an armbar but decides to keep the dominant position instead.
Gowing controlling from mount.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Bondarenko is bucking up trying to escape but Gowing cracks him with another couple of good strikes.
Gowing controlling from the full mount.

Gowing working for a submission but Bondarenko is keeping him at bay.
Bondarenko is not a happy chappy… he wants out of there.
Bondarenko looks to be in better condition than last time we saw him fight. Obviously he's been working hard on his cardio.

That's two minutes gone in the round.

Gowing wants to finish this one by submission but Bondarenko is holding onto his waist, trying to prevent any attacks from Gowing.
Bondarenko is looking to get to half guard.
Gowing looking to ground and pound his opponent to a finish here.
Gowing cracks Bondarenko with a big head shot that has him covering up instantly! He's rolled onto his side and the referee has seen enough - this one is aaaaaaaaaaall over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:53 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Cameron Gowing!
