Black has chosen Men in Black as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the middleweight championship of the world!
Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 23 - 20 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Arman Shaker!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 13 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Walter Black!
The judges for this bout are Tarja Halkonen, Ben Zyskovitsi and Roosa Järviläinen.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Black scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground.
Shaker trying to hold on to Black's head to control him but Black postures up.
Black is keen to just control but Shaker is a slippery customer.
Black might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Shaker haven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Black tries to stand and escape but Shaker actually recovers to full guard.
Black trying to control the position from guard on top but Shaker is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Shaker looking for a guillotine here but Black defends easily.

Shaker is looking for a triangle but Black pushes his legs off easily.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Black controls from within his opponent's guard.
Shaker keeping moving, preventing Black from controlling successfully.
Black engaging in some classic timewasting tactics.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Shaker preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Black uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Shaker.
Black checks a leg kick.
Black throws a hook but Shaker avoids it easily.
Shaker looks to land a body kick but Black moved away.
Shaker connects with a solid leg kick.
Black throws a big shot that misses.
No luck for Shaker with that takedown attempt.
Shaker cracks Black with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.
Black uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Shaker.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Black throws a hook but Shaker blocks it.
Shaker showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Black.
Black scores with a sloppy right hand. Shaker should have avoided that one.
Black cracks Shaker with a right hand to the side of the head.
Black lets his hands go wild with a nice combination. Left! Right! Uppercut! Spinning backfist! Shaker goes down and covers up as Black starts wailing on him! The ref watches the action closely before stepping in and putting a stop to the fight!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:35 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Walter Black!
Walter Black is the new middleweight champion!
An out of breath Walter Black thanked his loyal fans in his post fight interview, giving them credit for his success over the course of his career.
