Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Sean Foster!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Olexandr Borodach!
The judges for this bout are David Hoff, Bart Greer and Santiago Holmes.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Borodach scores to the head and body with a nice combination!


It looks like Sean Foster has been cut.
Sean Foster seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Foster looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this!
Foster has his takedown stuffed
and Borodach counters with a three punch combo that has Foster backing up. Foster nods at Borodach to acknowledge the strikes.
Foster doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Borodach counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Foster moves in looking to clinch but Borodach pushes him off.

Borodach is pushing Foster up against the cage, for a bit of lean and pray action. Action being used the in the loosest possible sense of the word.
Borodach digs a right hand underneath Foster's ribcage. Foster let out a lung full of air as it connected.

Borodach lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage.

Nice takedown defense from Foster. No joy for Borodach on that attempt.
Borodach shoots in looking for a takedown but Foster manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Borodach's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.

Foster looks to be in better condition than last time we saw him fight. Obviously he's been working hard on his cardio.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Borodach shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Foster as he avoids it easily.

Borodach breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Borodach feints and then cracks Foster's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Foster down.

Foster gets tackled into the cage by Borodach. Borodach maintains the clinch.
Borodach lands a shot to the body.

Borodach has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Foster uses from the top position.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Borodach is scooting his butt against the cage and has managed to get back to his feet. Foster presses him back against the cage, presumably looking to take the fight back to the mat.

Foster stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Foster wants it to stay on the feet.

Borodach buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Borodach shoots in looking for a takedown. Foster tries to sprawl out of it but Borodach keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Foster manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Foster shoots in for a double leg but Borodach sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.

The pace slowing considerably in the clinch, as Borodach takes a break from that fighting nonsense to think about the finer things in life.

Borodach darts in looking for a takedown but Foster gets double underhooks and turns Borodach into the cage.

Foster throws a counter high kick but Borodach was just alert enough to avoid it.

Borodach gets control of Foster's arms and successfully pulls guard. Borodach will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.

Borodach escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Foster gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Borodach not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Borodach lands a beautiful sweep and he's now moved into his opponent's guard.

Foster on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Foster tries to get out of the position.

Borodach gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent.
That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Foster crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Borodach - the referee stops the clock and Foster gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Borodach. Foster manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.
Borodach has been the more effective fighter overall so far.

Foster takes a head kick and keeps coming.
Borodach tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Foster defends well and Borodach ends up having to push Foster into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.

Well Borodach has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
