Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Graham Smith (ranked 7246 p4p, 0 weight class) and Panupong Singsurat (ranked 2818 p4p, 0 weight class). Smith kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Sylvia's Mother. Panupong Singsurat told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Singsurat closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
Smith wants to break free but Singsurat has control.

Singsurat's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Smith moves to clinch but Singsurat breaks away
and Singsurat counters with a head kick.
Smith fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Smith tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.

Smith gets caught flat footed, as Singsurat shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
Singsurat advances position into side control!

Singsurat in side control, working for a kimura. He's got hold of an arm and he's torquing it... Smith is tapping! That's the end of the fight!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:56 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kimura). Panupong Singsurat!
After winning the bout, Panupong Singsurat thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
