Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Yuri Loel (ranked 3131 p4p, 435 weight class) and Bobby Zepp (ranked 11002 p4p, 977 weight class). Loel comes to the cage accompanied by Eighteen Vision - Tower of Snakes. Zepp is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Boom! Shake The Room . These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Loel lands with a nice body punch.
Loel throws a poor cross that misses
and Zepp counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.

It looks like Yuri Loel has been cut.
Zepp throws a half hearted mid kick.
Zepp with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Loel to score with a decent uppercut.

It looks like Bobby Zepp has been cut.
Zepp throws a body kick that misses.
Loel throws a hook to the side of Zepp's head but Zepp sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Loel misses with an uppercut.
Loel throws a hook but Zepp avoids it easily.
We've been told by Loel's head coaches at Jacks Fight Club that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.
Loel misses with a wild body shot.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Loel moves out of range of the strikes.
Zepp needs to keep his hands up - Loel had a free shot at his head there.
Zepp takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.

That's one minute gone in the round.
A solid body kick from Zepp.
Loel pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Zepp back to the cage. Loel follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver.

Loel lands a left and a right that send Zepp crashing to the mat, dazed. Loel thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Zepp scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent.
Zepp thows a left - swing and a miss!
Loel moves out of range of the body kick from Zepp.
Loel throws out a loose jab but Zepp uses good head movement to avoid it.
Zepp swings away with a body shot that misses
enabling Loel to counter with a crisp jab.

That has opened up Bobby Zepp's cut even more.
Loel connects with a right hand. Zepp shakes it off.
Zepp throws a body kick but he wasn't in range.
Loel ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Zepp moves away.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Zepp takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
Loel lands with a right that hurts Zepp. Zepp looks to clinch but Loel throws a short knee that drops Zepp. This one is all over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:15 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punch and Knee). Yuri Loel!
