Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Jeff Rhodes (ranked 10190 p4p, 0 weight class) and Little Mac (ranked 6611 p4p, 0 weight class). Jeff Rhodes has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rhodes scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.

Mac looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
Rhodes wants to stand back up but Mac manages to pass into side control.

Rhodes tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Mac wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.
Mac tries to advance to mount but Rhodes denies him.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Mac accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Rhodes accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Rhodes will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

Mac has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.

Mac bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Rhodes's guard.

The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.

Mac decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.

Mac closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Rhodes to the mat! Rhodes manages to get full guard.

Little Mac showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
That's time! Rhodes's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. This is the final round!

Mac drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Mac jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Mac uses his free foot to push down on Rhodes's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Rhodes.

Mac has control of Rhodes's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Rhodes regains control of the situation pretty easily.

Mac has hold of Rhodes's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Rhodes manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
