Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Alonzo Green (ranked 22604 p4p, 640 weight class) and Donald Markham (ranked 23588 p4p, 643 weight class). Well, I have no idea who's going to take this one!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Markham on the wrong end of a kick to the body.
Green shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Markham sprawls well. Markham wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Green gets slowly back to his feet.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Green enables Markham to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Green manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.

Green shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Markham's guard.

Markham has scooted to the edge of the canvas and used the cage to get back to his feet. Green has stuck on his opponent and is forcing him back against the cage.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Green tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Markham smiles and moves away.

Markham looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
Markham is taking a breather. Green says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.

That was a close second round but I would say that Alonzo Green will probably get the nod.

Markham gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Green to score an easy takedown into full guard.

Markham goes for a double leg but Green avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Green continues to drive forward.
