The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Matwijenko throws a right hand that Naulakko ducks under and follows up with a left that Naulakko also avoids with ease.
Matwijenko takes one on the chin but keeps coming.
Naulakko lands with a hook. Matwijenko tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.
Naulakko looks to score with a jab to the body but Matwijenko is just out of range.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Naulakko, as that shot connected.
Matwijenko throws a looping overhand right but Naulakko ducks down to avoid it.
Naulakko was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger.
Naulakko throws a series of punches but Matwijenko moves out of range.
Matwijenko on the wrong end of a nice hook.
Naulakko lands a lovely overhand right.
Naulakko takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
Naulakko throws a combination that misses
and Matwijenko counters with a nice low kick that buckles Naulakko's knee momentarily.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Naulakko misses with a hook. Matwijenko ducked under it nicely.
Naulakko lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.
Matwijenko gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Naulakko.
Naulakko throws an overhand right that lands on Matwijenko's shoulder, as Matwijenko tries to avoid the shot.
Naulakko looks to land a left hand but Matwijenko moved out of range nicely.
Naulakko missing with a left hand there. Matwijenko was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Matwijenko swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made.

Matwijenko fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Naulakko looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Naulakko lands a nice shot that snaps Matwijenko's head back.

Naulakko is really head hunting here, hardly looking to strike to the body at all.
Naulakko jabs at Matwijenko's body.
Matwijenko is still on wobbly legs! Can Naulakko finish him?

Matwijenko throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Matwijenko seems to have recovered his senses.
Matwijenko slips a jab from Naulakko.
Naulakko misses with a looping left.
Naulakko throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Matwijenko moves out of range as Naulakko strikes.
Naulakko circles and sees the opportunity to plant his feet and throw a really nice straight left hand that drops Matwijenko to the canvas! Matwijenko doesn't know where he is but he's trying to survive - Naulakko keeps piling on the pressure and forces the referee to step in! This one is aaaaaall over!
