The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wales takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.
Akira goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.
Akira works over Wales's head and body with a nice combination.
Wales takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.
Akira throws a right and a left that both miss.
Akira throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Akira misses with a jab, cross combination.
Curtis Akira seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

A decent looking cross lands there for Wales.
Wales moves away from the strike by Akira.
Akira misses with the combination.
And Wales tries to counter it with a takedown but Akira pushes his down on his head and steps out.
Akira goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.
Wales ducks under a wild hook from Akira.
Akira scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.
Wales dodges the punch combination from Akira.
Akira has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Akira there as he acknowledges the shot.

Akira looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.

Wales sizes up Akira with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.
Akira shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Wales eats them both and turns towards Akira to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.

Akira ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.

Akira takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Wales thuds his right hand into Akira's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.

Wales slips a jab and a cross from Akira.
Wales scores with a hook to the body. Akira takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.
Wales scores with a sloppy right hand. Akira should have avoided that one.
Wales lands an uppercut out of nowhere! Akira falls backwards - clearly groggy! Wales dives in and finishes the fight with more strikes for a TKO finish!
