Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, John Smith!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Harg Grater!
The judges for this bout are Wagner Zegers, Aafke Stam and Patrick Alders.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Grater looks for the body kick but Smith saw that one coming.

Smith gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Smith takes a shot to the head.
Grater working on landing some head shots here - that one got through nicely.
Grater stalling here - the referee won't stand for too much of that.

Smith pulls guard successfully.
Smith trying to keep a closed guard but Grater is proving a slippery customer.
Grater controlling from the top position.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Grater is continuing to stall.

Grater wants to pass the guard but Smith is keeping the position.

The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.
Smith is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.

The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.
Smith looks to be in better condition than last time we saw him fight. Obviously he's been working hard on his cardio.
Grater is looking to land body kicks.
Smith tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Grater is trying to avoid his opponent's strikes and get into the clinch.
Grater slips a jab from Smith.

Smith moves into the clinch.
Grater lands on the inside with an uppercut.
Grater will no doubt start fighting again in a minute but for now he's just having a little rest, leaning Smith up against the cage.

Grater tries to work over Smith's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target.
A short right hand to the side of the head by Grater.
Smith stalling in the clinch but Grater improves position.
Grater tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked.
Smith has had enough of the clinch but Grater keeps him there for the moment.
Grater scores with an uppercut up the middle.
Smith with the Thai clinch. He's looking to land a big knee but he's not managed it this time.
Smith is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage.
A nice left hand lands by Grater.
Grater on the defensive, avoiding the knees to the body.
Smith with an attempt at a knee that misses.
Smith tries for a takedown but Grater manages to get underhooks.
A short body shot lands from Grater as the two fighters clinch.

Grater throws a blind hook that connects with the side of Smiths head.

Grater lands a left hand that snaps the head of Smith backwards.

Smith is rocked!
Grater prevents a body shot from Smith.
Oh Smith is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

A left hand lands to the body for Grater.
Smith misses with a punch on the inside.
Smith can't find room to land a body shot as Grater controls the action.
Grater avoiding damage as Smith throws knees to the body.
Grater lands a left hand.
Grater pushes Smith against the cage. Grater is working some dirty boxing. Grater pushes off with a quick right hook! Smith goes down! Smith tries to stand but stumbles back to his kness! Grater moves in to finish and the ref steps in to prevent any more damage!
