And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Frank Rogers!
The judges for this bout are Sandra Marshall, Dirk Anderson and Daniel Franklin.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rogers defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Borodach.
Rogers darts in looking for a takedown but Borodach gets double underhooks and turns Rogers into the cage.
Rogers shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Borodach but Borodach pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Borodach fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Rogers avoids it really well and circles away.

Rogers instigates a clinch.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Rogers tightens his grip and picks Borodach up, before dumping him to the ground. Borodach manages to land in guard.
Rogers is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.

Borodach is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Rogers defends well.

Borodach tries to hold on but Rogers postures up.
Rogers fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!

Rogers working for a submission here. He's tucked his head under his opponent's arm, looking for an arm triangle. He's hopped off into side control, looking to tighten the submission... is it going to work? He's given up a good position looking for it. Borodach looks OK. Oh, I spoke too soon, he's out! That must have been tighter than I thought! Excellent work there by Rogers! Submission of the night perhaps?
