The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Burgundy swings and misses with a hook to the body.
High scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
High lands a body shot.
Burgundy paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.
Burgundy ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
High cracks Burgundy with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.
Burgundy tries to land a front kick but High steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.
High gets cracked there but stands up to it.
Burgundy scores with a sloppy right hand. High should have avoided that one.
High throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
High moves out of range as Burgundy strikes.
Burgundy paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.
High throws a leg kick but Burgundy moved away.
High misses with a hook
and Burgundy counters with a stiff right hand.
Burgundy steps to his left, right into the path of a big body kick from High. That one must have hurt.
Burgundy misses with an uppercut. High saw that one coming.
Burgundy drops High with a straight right hand, right on the button! Burgundy follows him down to the mat and pounds him out with hammerfists until the referee jumps in to end the fight!

Ron Burgundy really struggled to get his t-shirt on before his hand was raised. Making sure that Spartan Nutrition logo gets some air time is pretty tricky when you're all sweaty.
