Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Roscoe Jenkins (ranked 4554 p4p, 414 weight class) and Brazilian Burger (ranked 4868 p4p, 439 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Burger's choice of entrance music: Sorriso Maroto - Assim Você Mata o Papai. Roscoe Jenkins has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Burger feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Burger drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Burger jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
Burger loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.

Jenkins has improved his flexibility recently so we will have to see if he can use that to his advantage.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Burger postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Jenkins is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Burger, into his guard.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity.

Burger fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Jenkins to the ground. Burger is now in Jenkins's guard.

Jenkins might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
Jenkins can't keep his opponent in guard - Burger advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.

Burger is working for a submission here. He's got hold of the far side arm and he's looking for a kimura. He's cranking on the arm and he's got it! Jenkins is tapping out! Ouch, that looked like it hurt!
