The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Ibragimov fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Lumatur sprawls well initially but Ibragimov persists and gets the takedown into half guard.

The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.

Ibragimov seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Lumatur does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

Ibragimov takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
Lumatur really wants to buck Ibragimov off and get back to his feet.

Ibragimov had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Lumatur is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Ibragimov Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Lumatur's back instead.
Ibragimov is throwing strikes from the back here. Oh that last one was to the back of the head. Ibragimov gets a warning from the referee. He throws another strike to the back of the head straight away though and the referee has seen enough. He breaks up the two fighters and stands them back up. Ibragimov gets a real talking to here and is lucky not to get a point deducted. Ibragimov apologises and we restart here on the feet.

Lumatur throws an overhand right that lands on Ibragimov's shoulder, as Ibragimov tries to avoid the shot.

Lumatur lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

It looks like Wlodymir Ibragimov has been cut.
Dreko Lumatur is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Ibragimov closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Lumatur throws out a loose jab but Ibragimov uses good head movement to avoid it.
Lumatur is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Ibragimov.

Lumatur throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Ibragimov sees it coming and avoids it easily.

Ibragimov working from mount. He moves in close and looks like he might be going for an arm triangle... He's hopped off to the side and he's transitioned into an Anaconda choke. Lumatur turning a nasty shade of purple. He's refusing to tap but he's gone! He's out! The ref rips Ibragimov off and cradles Lumatur's limp body as Ibragimov celebrates with his corner.
